Two Georgia players were honored as members of the All-SECHC teams in a ceremony that took place between semi-final games at the SEC Hockey playoffs Saturday night in Huntsville, AL.

Peter Kacer was honored as the 2012 Most Valuable Player of the SECHC, as well as a member of the 1st Team All-SEC squad.

Defenseman Ryan Terrana was named to the 2nd All-SECHC team as one of the top defensemen in the conference.  Congratulations to both of these Ice Dogs!

Boasting top academic honors in the ACHA, six Georgia Ice Dogs were awarded national All-Academic accolades.  Juniors and Seniors who have achieved a 3.2 grade point average or better are eligible for this honor.  The awards are a keynote in maintaining academic excellence while performing as an athlete at one of the top universities in the nation.  Congratulations Ice Dogs!
