The annual Ice Dawgs golf tournament is set to take place, where the University of Georgia Ice Dawgs will swap their hockey sticks for golf clubs. This event, held during the offseason, serves as a fundraiser for the team’s travel, equipment and other expenses.

Scheduled for April 14th, the 2025 tournament will be hosted at the University of Georgia golf course. Registration kicks off at 8 a.m., and the shotgun start commences shortly after 9 a.m.

The tournament offers various contests, including closest to the pin, longest drive and a putting competition.

Not only will the tournament’s victor earn bragging rights for the year, they will also go home with the tournament’s highly coveted red jacket, the UGA Hockey version of the green Master’s jacket.
